Privacy Policy
This policy covers SMS Retention Local, operated by Blake for an authorized local desktop reporting workflow, and this public information website.
Information accessed
With your Google consent, the desktop application accesses the configured spreadsheet's metadata, sheet structure, headers, dates, platform names, cell values and formulas needed to identify eligible retention cells and verify writes. It also processes retention metrics from reporting systems you have authorized. The Sheets OAuth permission is broader than one file, although this application's operations are limited to its configured file.
Use of Google user data
Data is used only to match reporting rows, preview retention results, preserve existing cell contents, write eligible blank cells and read back those writes. Optional scheduled synchronization performs this same workflow when enabled by the user. Google user data is not sold, used for advertising, used to train general-purpose AI models, or used for unrelated profiling.
Storage and security
OAuth client configuration and refresh credentials are encrypted in local application storage. Access tokens and report previews are held in application memory. Local preferences can retain platform aliases and scheduling settings. The destination spreadsheet retains synchronized values according to your Google account and spreadsheet settings. The application does not ask for or store your Google password.
Sharing and transfers
The desktop application communicates with Google APIs to read and update the authorized spreadsheet and with your authorized reporting systems to obtain metrics. Reporting-system login credentials are not written to Google Sheets. This public website does not receive spreadsheet contents, platform credentials or OAuth tokens. Data is not shared with unrelated third parties for independent use.
The hosting and network providers serving this website may process ordinary request information such as IP address, time, requested URL and browser information for delivery and security. This site does not add analytics scripts, advertising trackers, sign-in forms or business-data collection forms. If you email support, the information you choose to include is used to address your request.
Control, retention and deletion
You can stop synchronization or disable scheduled work in the desktop application. You may revoke Google access at any time from Google Account connections. Revocation prevents further authorized Google API access but does not erase values already written to your spreadsheet. You control deletion of those values in Google Sheets. Local credentials remain on your computer until removed; contact support for assistance deleting the local authorization without disturbing unrelated application settings. Closing the application clears its in-memory preview and access token.
Google API Limited Use
SMS Retention Local's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Contact and changes
For privacy questions or deletion assistance, contact Blake at blake316026@gmail.com. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Material changes requiring additional account access require a new authorization request.
